Urgent requirement: pipe TIG welder (South Dakota)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Faulk County, South Dakota. You will work on a structural steel site. You will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
