Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain The role involves carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank.
