Garden maintenance worker — Borough of Bury

Join our team: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Borough of Bury, England. You will be based in a botanical garden. Your main tasks: • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads You should have: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage £2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
