Great opportunity: we are hiring a house painter in City of Hopewell, Virginia. You will be based on commercial fit-out projects. What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec Day-to-day duties: • Sand and fill walls before applying primer • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
