Cnc lathe setter — Shelby County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Shelby County, Alabama. You will work at a busy machine shop. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Day-to-day duties: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
