Production operative — Elkhart County

Join our team: we are hiring a production operative in Elkhart County, Indiana. The job is in a textile mill. You should have: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts The role involves: • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges Rotating shifts.
