Immediate opening: we are hiring a furniture maker in Tom Green County, Texas. You will work at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. You should have: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Day to day you will install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
