Canteen cook • Campbell County, Virginia

Join our team: we are hiring a canteen cook in Campbell County, Virginia. You will be based at a cloud kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat Requirements: • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience.
