Great opportunity: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Wirt County, West Virginia. The role involves strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • ITI in welder trade or equivalent At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
