Die-casting operator wanted in Crawford County

Join our team: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Crawford County, Kansas. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. On the job you will handle: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $10,000 per project, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
