Head baker — Gallatin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a head baker in Gallatin County, Montana. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. Day to day you will rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds. You should have: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
