Now hiring: we are hiring an industrial painter in Siskiyou County, California. You will work at a busy decorating firm. Requirements: • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Working-at-height / PASMA scaffold ticket an advantage Day to day you will spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns; clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job; prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls; measure up and work out paint and material quantities; mix and tint paint to match colour swatches. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
