Immediate opening: electromechanical technician (England)

Join our team: we are hiring an electromechanical technician in Borough of Wigan, England. The job is in a food processing plant. You should have: • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills • Forklift or overhead crane licence a plus • Vocational qualification in industrial maintenance, mechatronics or electrics On a typical shift you will respond to emergency breakdown calls during shift; weld and fabricate brackets, guards and replacement parts as needed; keep a maintenance log of work carried out and spare parts used; diagnose and repair breakdowns on production machinery to minimize downtime; test electrical circuits, motors and control panels with a multimeter; replace conveyor belts, rollers and chains on production lines.
