You should have: • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish Day to day you will measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray.
