Sand plant operator — Florence County

Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Florence County, South Carolina. You will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
