Gas service engineer wanted in Mecklenburg County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. You will be based on commercial and industrial sites. The role involves lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply. Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Full-time with occasional weekends.
