We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Dade County, Georgia. You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On a typical shift you will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
