Now hiring: GMAW welder (Mississippi)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Rankin County, Mississippi. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. You will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
