Join our team: we are hiring a TIG welder in Montague County, Texas. On a typical shift you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
