Reinforcement fitter — Saint Croix County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Saint Croix County, Wisconsin. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. On a typical shift you will read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) 6+ years on the tools preferred.
