Now hiring: we are hiring a countertop fabricator in Morgan County, Alabama. You will be based in a natural stone fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound Ideal candidate: • Confident operating a bridge saw, angle grinder and diamond blades • Own hand tools an advantage • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
