Estate gardener wanted in Adams County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an estate gardener in Adams County, Idaho. You will be based in a botanical garden. Your main tasks: • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe Requirements: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
