Vacancy available: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. Requirements: • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates The role involves: • Wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils • Mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass • Load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $23 per hour plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
