We are recruiting: gas pipe fitter (New Jersey)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Camden County, New Jersey. You will work on commercial and industrial sites. Day to day you will complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
