Join our team: we are hiring a metal caster in Saint John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Day to day you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Share your details and we will call you back.
