Now hiring: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Tyrrell County, North Carolina. The job is at an industrial plant. Day to day you will install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings. Ideal candidate: • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits.
