Join our team: we are hiring an abattoir worker in City of Staunton, Virginia. The job is in a meat processing plant. The role involves season and marinate meat on request; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone. What we are looking for: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required 6+ years on the tools preferred.
