Gas service engineer • Blount County, Alabama

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Blount County, Alabama. Your main tasks: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations 6+ years on the tools preferred.
