Urgent requirement: car refinisher (Illinois)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a car refinisher in Hardin County, Illinois. The job is at a dealership paint shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods The role involves: • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
