Steel fixer • Cassia County, Idaho

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixer in Cassia County, Idaho. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. Day to day you will set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. What we are looking for: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
