Pipe tig welder — Baraga County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Baraga County, Michigan. The role involves weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
