Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Kusilvak Census Area, Alaska. You will work on a busy housing site. Requirements: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Your main tasks: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
