Natural gas fitter wanted in City of Charlottesville

Join our team: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in City of Charlottesville, Virginia. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. What we are looking for: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations On a typical shift you will test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate.
