Lawn care technician • Bienville Parish, Louisiana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lawn care technician in Bienville Parish, Louisiana. You will work at a plant nursery. You should have: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting You will dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
