Crane operator — Eti Osa

Now hiring: we are hiring a crane operator in Eti Osa, Lagos State. The job is on a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence Your main tasks: • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
