Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Tripp County, South Dakota. On the job you will handle: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
