Moulder — Cross County

Now hiring: we are hiring a moulder in Cross County, Arkansas. The job is in the melting bay of a steel foundry. On the job you will handle: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Part-time with flexible hours.
