Now hiring: we are hiring an external wall insulation fitter in Sutton County, Texas. You will be based on a construction site. Your main tasks: • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Working-at-height certificate an advantage Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
