Great opportunity: gas appliance installer (Texas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Yoakum County, Texas. The job is on commercial and industrial sites. Day-to-day duties: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Overtime paid at a premium rate.
