Vacancy available: we are hiring a public area cleaner in Union County, Iowa. The job is at a busy hotel. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and correct dilution ratios • Sharp attention to detail and an eye for cleanliness • Familiar with the colour-coded cleaning system The role involves log lost-and-found items and hand them to the supervisor; service 14-16 rooms per shift to the floor checklist; clean and disinfect bathrooms — toilets, basins, showers, mirrors and tiles; replenish amenities — soap, shampoo, towels, tea/coffee tray and toilet rolls; spot-clean walls, skirting, doors and high-touch points; empty bins, replace liners and segregate the waste. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
