Vacancy available: appliance service engineer (Kano State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an appliance service engineer in Takai, Kano State. The job is at a laundrette or commercial kitchen. You should have: • Own set of multimeters, hand tools and diagnostic equipment • Physically fit for lifting and manoeuvring heavy appliances • City & Guilds or NVQ in appliance servicing or electrical installation Your main tasks: • Strip down and rebuild appliance motors, pumps and compressors • Install new appliances and connect water, gas and electrical supplies • Test and replace heating elements, thermostats and thermal fuses • Lift and transport heavy appliances safely using trolleys and straps • Complete job sheets and service reports for each callout • Order replacement parts from spare parts catalogues and suppliers Part-time with flexible hours.
