Now hiring: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma. You will be based on a commercial construction site. On the job you will handle: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish You should have: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Rotating shifts.
