We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Dallas County, Missouri. The job is on commercial and industrial sites. Ideal candidate: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Driving licence for travel between sites Your main tasks: • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience.
