Lift technician — City of Waynesboro

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift technician in City of Waynesboro, Virginia. The role involves: • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers Requirements: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Pay around $140 per day, based on your experience.
