Now hiring: power press operator (Kansas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a power press operator in Jewell County, Kansas. You will work on the press shop floor. Your main tasks: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Overtime paid at a premium rate.
