Garment machinist • Barkin Ladi, Plateau State

Now hiring: we are hiring a garment machinist in Barkin Ladi, Plateau State. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. The role involves change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
