On a typical shift you will prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams; clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job; mix and tint paint to match colour swatches; mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting; fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps. What we are looking for: • Own brushes and basic hand tools • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
