Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Fauquier County, Virginia. You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium On the job you will handle: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
