Bar bender and fixer — Knox County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Knox County, Ohio. The role involves keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
