Horticulturist wanted in City of Radford

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horticulturist in City of Radford, Virginia. You will be based in a public park. Requirements: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
